welcome !
We are Oromo Speaking Evangelical Lutheran Congregation in Washington, DC Metropolitan Area, with the mission rooted in the Great Commission of Mat¬thew 28:18-20 to "Go into the world and make disciples from all nations...". We are a community of believers called out from different background, experiences and aspirations to be gathered as one body of Christ by the Holy Spirit through the Gospel. We preach, teach and confess Jesus Christ crucified, risen and coming again. We worship and celebrate in soul and body. We also heed His admonition to love our neighbors as ourselves.
You are invited to become an active member of Oromo Evangelical Church of Washington, DC. Church membership means the opportunity to both give and receive, in the name of Christ. Please feel free to contact Pastors Waktola Dinagde, or any member of the congregation if you have any questions. We pray you will come and worship and let your light shine in the darkness!
